Today when I got home from work Auntie Carol let me know that her son Adam and his wife Laura were coming over for dinner. The two of them offered to pick us up something from a restaurant on their way over and had told us to go online and pick something out of the menu.
The restaurant was a vegetarian restaurant and Auntie Carol and I really didn't feel like anything on the menu. In the end Auntie Carol ended up making hamburgers which to me seemed funny since we were sitting down to dinner with two vegetarians. Luckily they didn't seem to mind as they had their teriyaki tofu there.
We had a nice chat with the two of them and they headed home. After that I had to start the potato salad I was supposed to bring to Kate and Stu's dinner party. So Auntie Carol got me started on it and went downstairs to do her emailing. While I waited for the potatoes to boil I called my parents. I had a nice chat with them and they let me know that they will be coming to visit in August. I hope to take them to a baseball game while they are here.
After that I managed to fit some reading of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince into my schedule.
